Application Abbreviations Activity

 Hi all,

Distance learning this year has been quite a journey that often has my head spinning! Although many things have changed, there are still. so many skills to be worked on in our Transition Program. One of the first activities I like to revisit with the students at the beginning of the year is vocationally-based abbreviations. It. took me a little longer to adapt my curriculum this year, but after a much adjustment, I finally finished the interactive PDF for application abbreviations!

Reteaching these abbreviations activates the students' prior learning and primes our students for future application practice and functional reading skills as they take the classroom into the real world. I have included 36 of the most common abbreviations found on applications, such as:
